CutLoose Salon Website

A favorite hair salon in Houston’s eclectic, free-spirited, and forever-youthful Montrose neighborhood, CutLoose wanted a website that embodied their funky, welcoming, and open vibe. Their only caveat was to feature their cherished building and unique signage. This resulted in an interactive website featuring an outline of their beloved salon adorned with surprises the visitor uncovers with a hover or a click of the mouse. Humor is sprinkled throughout with a haunting sugar skull, fun factoids of each stylist that is uncovered through an activated filmstrip, and subtle color flashes featuring their hair product partner at the time, capturing their grit, spunk, and artistic nature.
