Rothko Chapel Invitation Packages (various)

Among the work done with Rothko Chapel over a span of ten years, are occasional invitation packages for special events. Displayed here are samplings from four events: The Visionary Award Gala, honoring British Actress and Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton and in conversation with the Academy Award winning director Wes Anderson and renowned philanthropist Lynn Wyatt; Moonrise Party on the Plaza, a star-gazing event fit for the Space City; the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Chapel, and a dinner in celebration of RED, a theatrical production depicting the life of American artist Mark Rothko, who was commissioned by founders Dominique and John de Menil to create the 14 murals that occupy the sacred space of the Chapel.
